This training offers an opportunity to gain an overview of the Nagoya Protocol and associated EU Regulations which have significant implications for the way R&D using certain plant, microbial and food waste materials is conducted. International Biochar Conference, Aug 17, Italy. Further information is here. Innovative Biotechnologies for Cleaning, Processing and Using Industrial Waste Streams India-UK Collaboration. Research Councils UK, in collaboration with Innovate UK and India’s Department of Biotechnology will shortly be inviting applications for its call on innovative biotechnologies for cleaning, processing and using industrial waste streams. The total budget for this call is worth £16 million. Further information here.
